Sallie is a senior channel, marketing and sales professional with more than 25 years of experience working with startups, mid-size and Fortune 500 companies. The primary focus of her background is on b-to-b endeavors in the software, hardware and telecommunications sectors.
Before joining SiriusDecisions, Sallie drove high-priority Americas channel initiatives and program development for VMware’s End-User Computing (EUC) business unit. Prior to that, she was a member of Oracle’s Worldwide Alliances and Channels team, where she was responsible for integrating channel partners into Oracle as a result of its acquisitions.
Sallie spent more than 10 years at Sun Microsystems driving high-profile partner marketing initiatives – from strategy conception to program creation and tactical execution – that provided partners with new, innovative lead generation campaigns and increased speed to market around top strategic initiatives. Her early experience includes working at a global PR agency and at start-up, mid-size and large telecommunications companies, including selling b-to-b telecommunications services for MCI. She has also served as an adjunct professor at Sonoma State University, teaching channel marketing for its Executive MBA program.
Sallie received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in marketing from Santa Clara University.
